The Coverlock 3.0 can use upto 5 threads for selected stitches and does have 23 stitch options. These is lots of versatility for and sewing project to become a professional work of art. It also uses the differential feed system so absolutely even seams are possible. Preventing seams from stretching or puckering. The feed system can be individually adjusted as needed to suite individual fabric types.
Adjust the differential ration dial and set to stretch when overlocking light fabric to avoid ruffling in the seam. Use on Knitted fabric will give a wave like effect as the image shows.
Adjust it the other way to avoid stretching in the seam or a use it as a gathering effect on light fabrics.
It has a large sewing space to the right of the needle together with an extension table for extra large projects give support for better sewing results. Sew rolled hems easily without having to change the foot or needle plate. All important settings are within easy reach of the user. The foot shank is angled to allow the presser foot to climb over thick or bulky multi fabric layers.
