With this orignal Pfaff ruffler, you can make closely or widely spaced pleats automatically while sewing. This is very useful for ruffles, frills, home decor, etc. The ruffler can be used in three different ways.
The ruffler or sometimes called a pleater sews small, individually adjustable tucks. The ruffler can be set to ruffle after every sixth stitch, every twelfth stitch or after every stitch. Perfect for sewing clothing or home decorating items.
Ruffler makes closely or widely spaced pleats automatically while sewing. Very useful for ruffles, frills, home textiles, etc.

Customer rating: Delighted with ruffler attaachment. Forgotten how well and efficiently a new one works. This is a replacement for one that I have used for many years and finally the small spring broke. The new one is so efficient at pleating/gathering and saves so much time from gathering the traditional method of pulling up a long running stitch. Used to see a ruffler in my mother's sewing box when I was a child and often wondered how it worked. While making gathered net underskirts for wedding dresses in the 80's I soon learnt the true value of a ruffler. Wonderful sewing machine attachment. (Posted on 2/19/12)
