Pfaff Hobby 1142 is the third and most advanced sewing machine out of the Hobby range. Other than including all the features of a 1132, this machine comes with amazing features of its own.
It contains a whopping 23 amazing selection of utility stitch styles, that can be customized in length and width to up to 4mm and 5mm. it comes with 6 needle positions that makes it great for top stitching. Just like the other Hobby machines, 1142 also comes with pre marked thread routes. The Bobbin thread is picked up automatically. This machine creates beautiful buttonholes.
Also, the free arm is great to work on tubular things, and the accessory storage tray will keep the work area organized. 1142 is great for sewing on buttons; all you have to do is adjust the width of the stitch. You can also make beautiful decorative stitches with width up to 5mm. The high pressure foot clearance feature allows you to work with bulky or multilayered fabrics.
Pfaff Hobby 1142 comes with two dial options; one lets you select your preferred stitch option or stitch program, and the other one lets you customize the stitch length and stitch width. Like 1122 and 1132, 1142 comes with a reverse stitch feature to tie off the top and end seam.
Some of the accessories it comes with include needles, bobbins, 1 step automatic (and regular) buttonhole foot, zigzag and satin foot and overcasting foot. It also comes with a hard cover for protection.
