Our products are brand new and have a full manufacturers warranty. Registration may be required.
Pfaff's Manufacturers UK Guarantee is 5 Years.
Pfaff's Manufacturers International Guarantee is 2 Years.
Pfaff products are very reliable and we do not expect any problems, however you are safe in the knowledge that if a problem occurs we will be able to help. We are the largest UK Pfaff dealer and know the machines we sell inside out. We do everything possible to help our customers sort out problems.
What's covered by the Pfaff warranty? Bone-fide faults... as per the manufacturers guarantee.
What's not covered? Very little. Naturally this extended cover excludes wilful damage, misuse, repairs caused by overuse or repairs made necessary by commercial use. Also "consumable items" such as belts, bulbs, and needles etc as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document. Sorry we are unable to extend the warranty on presses.
All our new sewing machines undergo a pre delivery inspection and are tested for your assurance, so you can be confident that your machine will reach you, ready to tackle the toughest tasks, straight from the box.
Free Return Carriage Cost
If for some reason your new machine is found to be in need of attention due to problems caused through faulty components and/or poor workmanship for a period of 6 months, we will sanction our "no carriage cost" back to base, repair and return of your machine within the UK mainland. Please email or phone first, as all repair/returns must be authorised prior to being sent.
Please retain the original packing materials, just in case your machine has to be returned to us. If you choose to dispose of the original packaging then this is against our advice. We cannot be held responsible for any damages caused in transit if the machine is not in its original packaging.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and will apply only to machines purchased for use in the UK mainland and used for normal domestic purposes and does not cover consumable items such as: needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, bulbs, belts, non-metal parts, loopers, blades, timing adjustments etc as stated in manufacturers warranty.
Very often, problems with sewing machines, presses and overlockers are down to user error. Customers purchasing a machine from PerformanceSewing.com can email or phone our help line for advice, however the first point of call should be the instruction manual.
The "no return carriage cost" is not applicable to all products e.g large sewing cabinets or large rotary irons are excluded.

VSM Group AB warrants this product against defect in material and workmanship to the extents here stated.
1. Person Entitled to Warranty Coverage The warranty is made to the purchaser who acquires this product for his or her normal, personal family of household use.
2. Countries Where the Warranty is Applicable The product may receive warranty service in the countries listed in this warranty document.
3. Duration or Warranty The duration of this warranty is two (2) years from the date of purchase.
4. Parts and Conditions Not Covered by Warranty Needles, light bulbs, belts and overlock knives are not covered by this warranty. Nor does this warranty cover conditions unrelated to the material or workmanship of the product.

5. PFAFF's Obligation under Warranty
During the first two years after date of purchase, both parts and labour will be provided free of charge. Any item which is replaced will not be returned to the purchaser and becomes the property of Pfaff. All transportation costs which are required because of service will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
6. Commercial Limited Warranty
Products used commercially are warranted for six (6) months parts and labour excluding belts, hooks, light bulbs, needles, needle plates, and overlock knives. No further warranty applies to Pfaff products used commercially
7. Procedure to Obtain Performance of Warranty
To obtain the benefits of this warranty, the product or the part believed defective must be delivered during the period that this warranty is in effect, to the authorised PFAFF dealer from whom it was purchased.
If after the time of purchase the owner moves to another place in any of the participating countries listed in this document, she/he may contact the national Pfaff sales company in order to locate a nearby dealer authorised to provide warranty service.
The warranty will be granted only if the original invoice or sales receipt ( indicating the date of purchase, product and sellers name) can be presented together with this document and the information contained within is complete and legible.
This warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under applicable national legislation in force, nor the consumer's right against the dealer arising from their sales/purchase contract. In the absence of applicable national legislation, this warranty will be the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy and neither VSM Group AB nor its subsidiaries or the distributors shall be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty of this product. Registration may be required.
