This part often snaps or becomes cracked and hence has no spring to it. The original would need to be replaced. This is the perfect replacement part.
The Pfaff Hand Wheel Clutch Lock is located inside the hand wheel and locks the floating wheel in place to drive the top shaft on most older Pfaff sewing machines.
