NetherlandsI ordered the reverse-running motor because here in the Netherlands it's seemingly impossible to find one. So I was glad to locate it here at this site. The motor does it's job and is an easy replacement for the sort of outboard motors that were provided for old Singer and Pfaff machines. I needed it for an old Kohler 3-thread overlocker (hence a reverse motor).
The ordering was simple and painless. The delivery was second-to-none. roughly two days from the middle of England to my front door in the Netherlands. Well-packed and sealed. The online tracking of the package allowed me to see when it was likely to be delivered. So a very good service all round.
I do have one issue with the motor itself though. There is no mention in the description that the housing and the pulley wheel are plastic. It's less of an issue for the housing since it is quite sturdy, but I expected the pulley-wheel to be metal rather than a plastic resin. I'd like it to last at least as long as the Singer motors I have. The bracket is made of steel, so no problem with that.
I give four stars overall. Only the plastic parts were an issue, but I'd like to have known this beforehand, otherwise it would have been five stars. On the whole I recommend the motor because they are not as easy to find as the regular anti-clockwise motors. I'd like them to see them a bit cheaper though, considering where they are manufactured.Date:
