This is the complete threading unit (not including the hook) and is a simple screw in fitment to replace the original if found to be faulty. It comes set-up ready to fit, however may need slight adjustment when fitted to allow for variation in needle eye height. The needle threader hook is not included. The threader hook can be found here.

LondonThe unit arrived very well packaged, two days after I ordered it. I was advised that it would be easy to fit and it was! I took the precaution of photographing the unit while it was still on the machine, with the side cover plate removed and at each stage of my removing and replacing it. I now have my Pfaff 1475 CD back in use. I only wish I had had the sense to keep the little tiny screw that held the old hook unit in place. If you replace your hook, put the unit, complete with the screw, on some sticky blue putty and place it in an envelope marked 'THROW AWAY ON PAIN OF DEATH!!!!!' Then, put it on your fridge with some gaffa tape or place it in your safe, or hide it in your underwear drawer or your handbag or in the highest tower in the strongest castle in the land (as I should have done when I took it off 5 years ago!) then you would not have to resort to stripping the 17-year-old's laptop to find a tiny, suitable screw. This company will be my first port of call for future sewing machine replacement items.
